INTERKULTURALNI PL would like to invite you to join the largest multicultural event in Krakow – “INTERKULTURALIA. LET’S MEET!” that will take place on Saturday, 27th October 2012.
The aim of this event is to present the cultural diversity of Krakow. Foreigners working and leading their everyday life in Krakow have decided, for the first time, to introduce their cultures and themselves to Polish inhabitants of the city. Volunteers taking part in the event would like to explain how their presence and intercultural exchange can impact the cultural, social and economic development of our city.
Volunteers involved in the event come from countries such as: Italy, Romania, Balkans, Colombia, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, India, United States, Germany, Scotland, England, Ireland, Finland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Greece, Russia, Turkey, France and Brazil.
What have we prepared for you?
I. INTER…KULINARIA – cooking workshops where you will find out how to prepare dishes from around the globe, from traditional French tarts to elements of different Asian cuisines.
II. DANCE WORKSHOPS – e.g. “Step ‘n Shout” workshop run by world-famous dancer Andy Ninvalle or Zumba and Flamenco classes for everyone.
III. LANGUAGE WORKSHOPS – introduction to: Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian, Polish for foreigners
IV. And in the evening – “LET’S MEET” where you will experience loads of fantastic events such as: “Interkulturalni w Krakowie” exhibition presenting portraits of foreign or Polish – Non Polish couples living in Krakow; Cultural performances presenting our volunteers’ cultures and living-in-Poland experiences; multicultural quizes and games; multicultural party until dawn!
