Yesterday, an important meeting took place between the Polish project team of ALPHABETICA and the Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Education, Mrs. Joanna Mucha. We are very pleased that the Minister accepted our invitation and, moreover, agreed to meet in Krakow, at the iconic Krakow café, Nowa Prowincja. We deeply appreciate this gesture.
The discussion focused on cooperation in the implementation of the Alphabetica project, supporting the development of methods from the field of art or art-based methods within the education system, and working on recommendations in this area at both the national and European levels.
We are excited about the continued collaboration and the Ministry’s support for actions that are transforming the educational space to be more inclusive, open, and creative.
The meeting was attended by, in addition to Minister Joanna Mucha, Urszula Majcher Legawiec from the Foundation for the Support of Polish Culture and Language named after Mikołaj Rej, Alphabetica project coordinator Jakub Kościółek, and project team member Adam Bulandra.
