The first year of the Micreate research activities was spent on analyzing existing research (state of art), talking to migration experts, principals of schools attended by migrants and teachers of children with migration experience. On the basis of the knowledge learned and gained experience, the project team prepared a policy brief on the project and general integration policy along with specific recommendations in specific areas of the functioning of migrant children in the host countries.
